1984 ARO 10.1 Rear differential

I'm in Australia and have the only road registered ARO 10.1 4x4's.

 

I have had a pretty bad rear differential whine and had the diff looked at by a diff builder, turns out there is a pretty bad wear mark on the crown wheel & pinion.

 

So I'm looking for a crown and pinion to suit a 1984 ARO 10.1 1.3litre 4 speed. The crown wheel has 41 teeth & the pinion had 9 teeth.

 

Can anyone please help.

I think what you are looking for is called "grup conic spate". You should consider contacting them.

I have tried to get in contact with the duexim.ro site people but haven't heard anything back from them in a week or so at the moment I'm stuck but looking for second hand gear sets or Diff centres that would be suitable.

here is some pictures of my crown & pinion. Sorry its not separated yet. Didnt have time to press the bearings off.

 

Does anyone know where I could get another set?

Hello,I think I can help you with one ,I have a mechanicalwinch made from an Aro 10 front dif,Monday I'll ask the man that built it for me if he has another one with you ring and pinion number 41 and 9.

Thanks pinti. Let me know how you go. Its for a petrol 1.3litre. You should be able to see what direction crown and pinion needs to be off the pictures.
