2013 - Our 4x4 RECO tour in Romania

Hi everybody

 

We had the chance to spend 3 weeks in august 2013 in Romania. This was our Reco tour, in order for us to organize a tour with customers and friends in 2014.

This is the first movie out of 3.

Thanks again to all the people on this forum who helped us during this tour, and specially MAX and his lovely wife ;)

I also want to say a warm thank you to the very nice people of Romania that we met during our tour.

I can't wait to be back again.

It's always frustrating to leave a country without seeing more...

I really engage people to visit Romania and specially the back-country now...

As I saw, things are changing very quickly... and not always in a good way. (it's most of time worst in other countries... just my opinion)

Pretty daring to make such trip by one car. Alltough, it is a Patrol:h5.

 

Thank you for sharing us the movies. We know that we have a beautiful country. We also say "pretty bad that it is enhabited".

 

You've had a marbless trip, a lot of km, i'd like to do that too:wink:

 

You've seen the tallest wooden church of the world, Transfagarasan-route, i think i recognized even the deadly lake of Rosia Montana....

Hello Niko Geko.

 

I´m planning a trip to Romaina in Sept -14. Thanks for the great videos you posted, i just watched them and enjoyed all of them a lot.

 

It looks like you´ve done a lot of research and that you have found a lot of nice places to drive.

 

Are there any paths you would recommend to drive? (I´m driving a Patrol Y60, 4,2d, 2,5" spring raised with BFG KM2 Mud (37" x 12,5 x 15) Any info you have on routes would be most welcome.
