Patrol 2010 surprins la teste in Emirate. Parca nu arata asa de rau ca si in pozele spion.

Personal ma doare in cot de design! Daca pastreaza punte fata punte spate blocant spate si piese la fel de strong e perfect oricum arata! Cine nu e multumit sa-si cumpere flex!

Mecanica conteaza...sa vedem ce iese poate ramane inca masina de teren...

Din ce se spune pana acum Patrol-ul nou va fi o masina soft. O copie a Toyotei Land Cruiser.

 

Ce e sigur pana acum

- portbagaj cu hayon ( roata de rezerva sub masina ) ,

- suspensie fata independenta ( ca si la Navara sau Pathfinder )

- motoare noi ( pentru Europa un diesel V6 de 3.0L facut de Renault )

 

Se speculeaza ca masina va fi prezentata la LA Auto Show 4 - 13 Decembrie

Exista speculatii ca se va renunta la suspensia independenta spate dar totodata se spune ca noul Patrol va fi un vehicul 4x4 cel putin la fel de capabil sa nu uitam ce a facut GT-R-ul sa speram ca si noul Patrol va face aceiasi senzatie care a facut-o GT-R

Nissan a lansat la Abu Dhabi noul model Patrol, concurentul direct al lui Land Cruiser de la Toyota.

 

Noul Patrol are un motor de V8 de 5,6 litri şi o putere de 400 de cai, în timp ce cutia este automată în 7 trepte.

 

Testele maşinii au fost realizate în deşerturile din Orientul Mijlociu, iar cercetările de marketing au vizat în special clienţii arabi. Preţul noului model este de aproximativ 50.000 de euro.

totusi arata bine, (sigur nu mai are acelasi aer cau un Y61 dar nici noul LC V8 parca nu e aceiasi ca modelel mai vechi) in zilele noastre masinile astea cauta sa fie cat se poate de luxoase, ce am auzit e ca masina a pastrat strctura sasiu separat de caroserie insa erau speculatii ca se va renunta la puntea rigida fata si chiar spate insa doar speculatii

Da,nu mai arata a masina de teren,nu mai are design-ul impunator al unui Patrol...

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (February 14, 2010): In the first-ever World Premiere in the GCC by a Japanese automaker, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. yesterday launched the long-awaited and highly-anticipated all-new 2010 Nissan Patrol SUV.

 

“The Hero of All Terrain” was revealed by Carlos Ghosn, President & CEO of Nissan Motor Company Ltd. to officials, VIPs and business guests from across the Middle East region.

 

Nissan Patrol is a name synonymous with ruggedness; a legendary off-roader capable of going anywhere, anytime. Meticulously honed for over five decades, the Patrol is Nissan’s flagship SUV model and enjoys a rich heritage and passionate following in the Middle East that dates back to the 1950’s. It is no small statement to say that for many owners across the Middle East, the Patrol is the vehicle that they grew up with; becoming an inseparable part of the social and cultural fabric of Arabia.

 

The international reveal ceremony, held at the splendor of the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, was marked by a splendid operetta telling the story of Patrol and its strong affinity with Arabia, under the theme: ‘The Hero Comes Home’. This banner speaks to the vehicle re-assuming its position as the region’s premier and trusted large SUV.

 

The Patrol now returns as an all-new seventh generation model, building on its impressive history, but at the same time, incorporating a new platform, a radical new design direction, significantly enhanced interior comfort and luxury, powerful new V8 engines, a 7-speed automatic transmission and a new 4WD system.

 

“The new Patrol is built with the high level of safety, performance and quality that characterises the Nissan brand, and we paid special attention to the needs of GCC drivers and passengers,” said Carlos Ghosn, President & CEO of Nissan. “We are confident that our flagship SUV for the Middle East will exceed all expectations”, he added.

 

Tested to the limit

 

Wanting to build the best possible Patrol to breakthrough the competition, engineers first tuned and tested 200 prototypes for dynamic evaluation at the company’s Motegi, Oppama and Tochigi proving grounds in Japan before sending them to the Middle East where they were exposed to every imaginable challenge; desert, rocky surfaces, highways and inner-city traffic.

 

In fact more than 40 Japanese engineers completed a total of 13,265 hours of testing in the region to assess the vehicle’s performance and durability.

 

A rigorous programme of tests was carried out by Nissan engineers between early 2008 to the end of 2009, in the tough terrain areas close to the UAE and Saudi border.

 

New exterior more sophisticated but still rugged

 

After extensive market research, especially in the Middle East, the design team concluded that for the Patrol to beat its main competitors, it needed not only a brand new design direction but class-leading engine performance, greater luxury and comfort and a smart mix of new technologies that enhanced the total driving experience.

 

The all-new exterior design is like a breath of fresh air. The new surfaces are authentic to Patrol heritage and at the same time beautifully add a sense of modernity to the design equation, while still maintaining a ruggedness and commanding road presence.

 

0ne design element that expresses ‘Patrol’ and had to feature strongly was the angled-strut motif front grille. It was meticulously proportioned to deliver a sense of continuity with past models but give a touch of newness while enhancing the car’s status level.

 

This off-road trendsetter was one of the first dedicated four-wheel-drive vehicles available in the climatically demanding Middle East region, and boasts the notable distinction of also being the first vehicle to successfully cross the grueling Simpson Desert in Australia back in 1962.

 

Focus on roomier, more luxurious cabin

 

Featuring generous amounts of leather, polished aluminium and wood grain paneling, the Patrol’s interior too has been significantly upgraded. Designers wanted to create a better, higher quality interior for the GCC family.

 

In keeping with the Patrol’s mission to deliver more comfort and more room, the new Patrol delivers seat dimensions that outclass all competition. Boasting wider, higher and deeper front seats, the Patrol offers over 100mm more legroom for second row passengers, and a roomier third row of seats as well. Employing double the lateral rigidity over the outgoing model, the new Patrol sits on a revised platform that now offers a more robust construction with a low vibration body.

 

All-new V8 engine leads array of segment-beating hardware

 

The new Patrol is now the most powerful vehicle in its class. The key technology achieving this jump in performance over the predecessor’s 4.8 litre power plant is the newly developed ‘VK56VD’ 5.6-litre V8 engine with VVEL (variable valve event and lift) and DIG (direct injection gasoline) technologies that generate 400hp and 560Nm of torque with enhanced fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions on the top specification version of this new engine

 

Every component has been redesigned for maximum performance and smooth response, while a new 7-speed automatic transmission with Manual Shift Mode and a wider range of gear ratios than its predecessor, gives the off-roader the ability to deliver power faster.

 

Comprehensively upgraded 4WD system sets new standard

 

In a world-first, the new Patrol employs a Hydraulic Body Motion Control System (HBMC), which keeps the car flatter with less body roll during lane-changing and cornering, while delivering a comfortable ride in city driving and superb stability on rugged and sandy tracks.

 

Another crucial part of handling equation comes from the new suspension system, which now employs 4-wheel independent suspension, upgraded from the previous rigid axle setup. Nissan has completely redesigned the vehicle’s suspension from the bushes to the links. The combination of HBMC and the new suspension system with its longer suspension stroke delivers significantly improved handling and stability on both on- and off-road terrain.

 

The Patrol also employs a newly developed ALL MODE 4x4 system incorporating a variable 4x4 mode package. It allows the driver to quickly switch between four drive modes: sand, on-road, snow and rock, with the flick of a switch. In sand mode, owners are able to drive safely, quickly and skillfully in sand and dirt, just like professional rally drivers.

 

In addition, the Patrol also offers a new Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control which can also be selected easily with the touch of a button. With Hill Start Assist, if a driver stops on a slope and steps off the brake pedal, the system keeps the vehicle stationary – with no roll back. Hill Descent Control uses the brakes to maintain a constant downhill speed of 7km/h in 4H mode and 4km/h in 4L mode.

 

A revised, more effective brake system also provides the best braking performance in its class thanks to its new hydraulic brake booster and a 4-piston opposed front caliper setup with larger 358mm front discs.

 

SAFEST SUV EVER

 

Nissan Patrol is the SUV with most safety features. It has employed state-of-the-art safety technologies that help the driver maintain comfortable driving, to recover from dangerous conditions and minimize the damage when a collision is unavoidable.

 

Incorporated in the Nissan world-renowned Safety Shield, the safety systems include Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, which assists the driver avoid unintended lane departure. If the Patrol is getting close to the lane markers unintentionally, LDW warns the driver with an alarm and an indicator to brake. At the same time, LDP assists the driver to bring the vehicle back to the lane by generating a turning force by applying the brake.

 

Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) reduces the driver’s burden to keep the speed or distance constant. It assists the driver both with braking and accelerating, in the traffic that requires less speed change.

 

With Distance Control Assist (DCA), the drive’s burden to keep a distance to the vehicle in the front is reduced, particularly in traffic jams requiring frequent braking.

 

If the Forward Collision Warning system senses there is a risk of a collision ahead, it warns the driver with an alarm and an indicator to brake. The Automated Hazard Warning Signal has been added to assist in the event of a collision, where the signal comes on automatically.

 

Vehicle Dynamic Control combines with Traction Control System, Helical Brake LSD (Limited Slip Differential) and mechanical Differential Lock functions to automatically prevent the Patrol from sliding sideways on slippery road surfaces when changing lanes or negotiating a curve.

 

Intelligent Brake Assist sensor measures the distance from a preceding vehicle and gives a warning with an alarm and an indicator on display. If it judges that a collision is unavoidable even after driver action, it applies the brake to slow the vehicle and help reduce injuries and damage.

 

Patrol is available with an advanced six-airbag configuration. Front Seat Belt Pretensioners and Load Limiters automatically tighten the seat belts in certain frontal collisions, while load limiters are designed to “give” a little, to help reduce belt-force load transmitted to front occupants.

 

Other safety features include the Crash-sensitive Door Unlock. On detecting collision, the doors unlock themselves to ensure free movement of the occupants. Active Head Restraints help in certain rear-end collisions, as front-seat Active Head Restraints move upward and forward to help cushion the head and to reduce whiplash-type injuries.

 

World-firsts

 

While having created a comprehensive array of advanced safety systems, the engineering team has also managed to create world-first technologies, besides the Hydraulic Body Motion Control System (HBMC). They include the curtain vent, an advanced individual DVD entertainment system and the Tyre Pressure Monitor System with Tyre Inflation Indicator.

 

The upper vents for the front seats are designed in a way that the steering wheel would not block the wind, However, the curtain vents are a totally revised climate control system. The system has several small but highly effective vents mounted in the ceiling above each side window to blow a strong current of cool air down forming a curtain of air that acts as a barrier to heat penetrating the cabin.

 

The multi-screen, multi-functional individual DVD entertainment system boasts 3 displays, a dashboard screen and two rear-facing TVs; one 7-inch OVGA (Wide Video Graphic Array – 800x480 pixel) monitor embedded into each front seat headrest that can connect to the various source of music, video and entertainment, such as the DVD, i-Pod and game player.

 

The third world-first is the Tyre Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) with Tyre Inflation Indicator. The new model employs this system which beeps the horn softly to inform drivers that a suitable tyre pressure has been reached.

 

Yet another impressive Patrol feature is the cool box mounted in the centre console between the front seats. Incorporating a unique double hinge design, the lid of the cool box can be opened easily from either the front or second row of seats to access the six 600ml drink bottles inside.

 

Patrol will also be available with a Hard Drive based Navigation (HDD) System and a 9.3GB ‘Music Box’.

 

The Nissan Patrol is known as the SUV that is reliable, unbreakable and affordable. Highest quality is ensured in terms of packaging, performance, comfort and quality levels in the building of the new model at the state-of-the-art Nissan Shatai Kyushu plant. The new Patrol will be the first vehicle to line off there.

 

Employing the Nissan Production Way (NPW), the new plant is a benchmark factory for quality and delivery time while offering the latest, high quality production systems on a multi-vehicle production line.

 

And lastly…
