Mai jos sunt detaliile damage-ului, direct de la posesor:

 

85blue4runner is close, actually the tie rods pulled in half, everything else is pretty much correct, A pretty big blunder on my part, I built the tie rods using insters & .120 wall tube, I was not concerend about bending the tie rod since they were so short, after welding them togeather I machine them down just enough to clean them up, leaving the tube pretty thin,

 

Since that event I have made the tie rods stronger & made the rest of the repaires,

That one incident resulted in the damage of 2 tierods, 2 bent wheels, (both had inner bead damage & one had a bent center) also one stub shaft was broken, taking out the axle seals & the end of the tube & the spindle, the spindle was also slightly bent & cracked.

 

With the help of a few locals we had it back togeather in time to compete in the sled pull & rock course, even if it was only in 3 wheel drive,

 

This was a cool event, with a lot of cool people, not to mention I got to meet Cheston Beck (TTC 08) & Jerry Duffy (TTC 05), well worth the trip & the damage

Buna seara !

 

 

 

Cand folosesti capete de bara cu 3mm in perete pe un astfel de vehicul, cu greutati mari la capetele puntii, inseamna ca nu judeci corect, nu ai inclinatii tehnice si n-ai idee despre rezistenta materialelor. Si daca a invatat din asta, cum afirma acolo, e totusi un castig.
