Offroad club 4x4H - Shumen, is proud to welcome you to our 13th edition of the 4x4 Shumen trophy ...

4x4 Shumen trophy 2013 ...

Dates: 28.11 > 01.12.2013

Place : HQ - city of Shumen

Type - Roadbook trophy

Terrain - interesting ;)

 

As usual, we are giving a detailed information to what is the event, preliminary regulation books, fees and many more 6 months in advance ...

Here is a brief program for it :

- Thursday - registration, technical check, briefing

- Friday - Stage 1 + 2

- Saturday - Stage 3 **( +4 )

- Sunday - Stage 5 and price giving ...

** there is the option for a second night stage ;) still in a project to be worked on ;)

 

As you know for the classes:

- Masters - compolsary winching and hard navigation

- Learners - no winching tracks, if someone get stuck it is their problem ;)

- Tourist - having to watch and have fun around the tracks from the big boys - NO RACING CLASS !!!

 

For those who were competing last year - absolutely the same rule book :) Those who has not been participants - Roadbook navigation through rough terrain with several extreme sections. Each class starts in together and work out their way towards the finish. There is end time for the stage in which you have to finish, if not you are ranked by the last real check point you have passed. The ranking is made in the order of most passed extreme sections, then is virtual check points and if you finish in time by the time and penalties you have made ;)

 

Timing and control : Timing via timing system engineered for this event. Control - Via your Garmin GPS units with Track log option.

 

Fees - starting from 50 BGN for Tourist and 120 BGN for Masters. There is a time table in which regarding your registration period is the fee you get.

 

Allowed vehicles - all vehicles must be ROAD LEGAL and to have all papers for driving on national roadway - meaning - registration plates and documents.

Compolsary equipment - For Master's and Learner's classes a minimum or a roll bar behind the passanger. For Master's class also a working winch. Seatbelts, Helmets and a minimum of 2 liters fire extinguishers is a must for all classes. For the fire extinguishers ask Horatiu ;)

First we are very sorry and we appologize for still not having the web site in English language ...

Due to the fact that we are the track managers for the Breslau Balkan 2013 and the time is 110% given to that event ...

 

Second - Registrations are open now ... For the first day we have already 2 entries. The 2-times SHumen trophy Winner in the Co-pilot seat will compete again ;)

because a lot of romanians want to come, maybe will be better to translate your website also in romanian.... are a lot of Bulgarian peoples near border hwo know also romanian language and will be very easy for you to translate it.

Cei care doriti sa participati la acest concurs va rog sa va inscrieti pe siteul evenimentului pana pe 18/11/2013 pentru a beneficia de un pret preferential (un discount de grup).

Two things which are up now :

1st - the parking place infront of the hotel has been separated in to two - One payed parking lot and one free for the hotel Shumen residenses.

The second thing : Weather... In the forest there is now about 4 sm of snow. The current situation is now snowing heavily. At the moment there is no need for snow chains due the fact that there are asphalt connection roads and several rocky paths.

For the learners class they might need to pull out some winches cause the weather has changed dramatically ...

BUT the tracks are ready, all stickers are ready, CUPs are here , and we are one day away from seeinig all together
