"BALKAN OFF-ROAD MARATHON 2009"

"Balcan Offroad Marathon" este un proiect complet nou al fanilor si iubitorilor de offroud din trei ??ri, Bulgaria, Macedonia ?i Grecia!

 

Ideea este de a face o cursa cu aventuri cu o multime de adrenalina, o mul?ime de emo?ii, noi cuno?tin?e ?i de contacte.

Formatul competi?iei este rally-raid cu mai multe intersectii de drumuri ?i treceri prin zone frumoase ?i s?lbatice în cele trei tari.

Participarea este posibila cu motociclete , cu ATV, cu vehicule 4x4 pana la 3,5 tone greutatea total?, camioane cu o greutate de peste 3,5 tone.

 

Circulatia se va efectua dupa harta, iar controlul va fi efectuat cu ajutorul receptoarelor GPS.

 

Circuitul zilnic va avea o lungime între 250 ?i 400 km., iar seara se va organiza tabara cu cort in frumoase locatii cu excelente condi?ii de trai pentru participan?i.

 

Distan?a total? pentru întreaga curs? va fi de aproximativ 2000 km, avand in vedere ca startul va avea loc in Bulgaria, iar finala in Grecia, Marea Alb?.

“Balkan Off-road Marathon” is an international competition in rally-ride style and it will cross three countries – Bulgaria, Macedonia and Greece.

 

CLASSES OF MACHINES

 

ATV/QUAD - without limitation in cubic capacity.

MOTORCYCLES - without limitation in cubic capacity.

AUTOMOBILES 4 X 4 - with a total weight under 3,5 tones. Without limitation in cubic capacity about 4x4.

TRUCKS – with a total weight over 3,5 tones.

 

 

COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MACHINES AND RIDERS.

 

All participants must have a valid passport and valid driving license.

The machines must have regular police registration and insurance “Green Card”

 

ATV / QUAD

 

- It is obligatory to have a kill switch device;

- Nerf bars are obligatory;

- Cross helmet, protectors for pilot, moto-cross boots and glasses;

- Police registration number and insurance “Green Card”;

- Valid medical insurance for minimum 15000 EURO.

 

 

MOTORCYCLES

 

- Cross helmet, protectors for pilot, Moto-cross boots and glasses;

- Police registration number and insurance “Green Card”;

- Valid medical insurance for minimum 15000 EURO.

 

AUTOMOBILES 4X4

 

T1 – CLASS EXPERT

 

- It obligatory to have a roll cage for the car manufactured to FIA standard ( Annex G, article 253).

- Minimum 4 point seat belts ( It’s recommended to use homologized seat belts);

- It’s obligatory to install anti-fire system in the car.

- Protective helmets according to ECE standard for the pilot and co-pilot ( it’s recommended to use homologized helmets)

- The car must be equipped with the main electrical interrupter. It must work without spark formation and it must be available to each crew member. Implementation should be in the same time with turning off the engine, without importance what type it is ( petrol or diesel).

- It’s obligatory to have tow ropes – 2 pcs;

- It’s obligatory to have First-aid kit (DIN1 3164) and warning triangle;

- It’s obligatory to have GPS which is capable to record GARMIN tracks.

- Valid FIA license for the pilot and co-pilot;

- Valid medical insurance for minimum 10000 lv.

 

 

T2 – “ADVENTURE”

 

- It’ s recommended to have a roll cage for the car manufactured to FIA standard (Annex G, article 253);

- Minimum 4 point seat belts;

- One approved fire extinguisher (2 kg) – ( it’s recommended to install anti-fire system in the car);

- Protective helmets according to ECE standard for the pilot and co-pilot ( it’s recommended to use homologized helmets);

- The car must be equipped with the main electrical interrupter. It must work without spark formation and it must be available to each crew member. Implementation should be in the same time with turning off the engine, without importance what type it is ( petrol or diesel);

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT

 

- Tripmaster;

- Road book holder for motorcycles and quads;

- Winch with polispas;

- Tubes for fuel;

 

 

REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION FEES

 

Entries are open from 15/05/2009 to 15/09/2009.

Preferential period for registration and payment is until 15/08/2009.

Application form has to be filled in and sent by e-mail to the organizers. The entry fee must be transferred to a bank account of the organizer.

 

ENTRY FEES

 

Motorcycle/ ATV

 

- Up to 15/08/2009 – 150 €.

- From 15/08/2009 to 15/09/2009 – 300 €.

 

Cars 4x4 and trucks

 

- Up to 15/08/2009 – 200 €.

- From 15/08/2009 to 15/09/2009 – 400 €.

- Fee per one assistant car – 20 €.

 

 

ROAD BOOK

 

Movement in racing and connecting stages will be implemented by road book. Every evening on special briefing participants will receive a road book for the next day.

For motorcycles and ATV’s road book will be on roll.

Movement of the competitors on the route and control over speed limits will be done with GPS.

 

ASSISTANCE AND SERVICE PARK

 

The organizer will provide service park in stages with the possibility for refueling and repairing the cars.

Assistance equips will receive distinguishing stickers, road book with mentioned places for service parks and the nearest petrol stations and repair shops.

 

CAMP AND PLACES FOR ACCOMMODATION

 

The organizer does not take responsibility for accommodation of participants during the competition.

The organizer sets a place for accommodation ( bivouac, camp) with the possibility for caravans , tents and campers.

The organizer provides service sanitary facilities (bathroom, toilet) , security and lighting of the camp.

In the camp will be available professional catering.

During the period of the competition there will be available for competitors medical equip with specialized car.

Salut Todor si bine ai venit pe la noi.

 

Foarte fain proiectul demarat de voi, din pacate, pentru mine cel putin, este prea din scurt dar am sa incerc sa particip anul viitor. Va urez sa organizati si editia din 2010.

 

Referitor la cursa te rog sa fi un pic mai explicit. Din prezentare si informatile gasite pe site (http://www.balkanoffroad.com) am inteles ca este o cursa in genul Berlin - Bresalu (Trophy Rally Raid). Este recomandata echiparea masinii cu troliu, sunt suficiente anvelope tip MT sau este nevoie de cele tip "Simex"?

 

p.s. am, deasemenea, rugamintea sa-ti faci o prezentare la rubrica Membri Forumului. Asa se obisnuieste pe la noi.

Hi Todor and welcome to our forum,

 

I will translate the above post to be sure that we can communicate.

 

You have a very interesting project. Unfortunately for me, at least, it is on a very short notice to be able to attend this year. I will try to participate in 2010 hoping that you will organize it again.

 

Regarding the rally please be kind and offer us more info. Based on you presentation and the web site I understood that is a Trophy Rally Raid event like Berlin Breslau. It is enough to have MT tires or you recommend “Simex” type tires? Must the cars have a winch mounted or not?

 

According to our habits please make a presentation of yourself on the “Prezentarea Membrilor” section (members presentation topic).

Sorry for the late post and announce of competition, but it’s very difficult to combine tracks into three countries. Also I participated on “Transcarpatic Rally” and on this competition I understood for your forum.

 

The competition is rally-raid style and there is no need of winch. The track is with wide and stony roads. Here you can find pictures from the track in Bulgaria and Macedonia. And in Greece it will be the same. - http://forum.offroad-bulgaria.com/showthread.php?t=63188

 

It’ s completely different from Dresden – Breslau, because there is not mud and winches.

 

Till this moment we have entries from participants from Germany, Greece, Italy, Austria, Macedonia and Romania.

Imi cer scuze pentru intarzierea publicatiei si anuntului de concurs, dar este foarte greu sa combini trasee in trei tari. De asemenea am participat la " Transcarpatic Rali" si acolo am aflat de forumul Dvs. Concursul este de genul rally-raid si nu e nevoie de vinci, iar traseele sunt largi si in mare parte drumuri pietroase, uite aici sunt imagini ale traseului din Bulgaria si Macedonia, iar in Grecia e la fel - http://balkanoffroad.com/cgi-bin/e-cms/vis/vis.pl?s=001&p=0002&n=000011&g=

Nu are nimic in comun cu Drezden - Breslau pentru ca nu exista noroi si vinci ! Acum sunt inscrisi participanti din Germania, Grecia, Italia, Austria, Macedonia si Romania! O sa va informez cu fiecare noutate care apare in ceea ce priveste organizarea!

la transcarpatic l-am cunoscut pe om si pe colegii lui si sunt foarte OK.

genul de sport este mai apropiat de offroad decat de rally raid, de fapt este undeva pe la mijloc, dar voi incerca sa ajung si eu la start macar ca spectator/organizator.

 

Intentionam sa facem Trofeul Dobrogei 2010 in ambele tari (Dobrogea mare) de la Tulcea la Balcik. Mai intai trebuie sa sincronizam regulamentele, care asa cum observati sunt diferite.

Stage from 250 to 350 kilometers ??? day of forest roads, very stony roads

in mountainous and agricultural roads in the plane.

No special preparation is necessary, once you were "Transkarpatic

hristov a scris romaneste cu ajutorul cuiva, nu stie atat incat sa scrie cursiv mereu. Insa propun si eu sa fie mutat la sectia "internationale", dar lasati anuntul initial aici si link catre continuarea acolo unde va fi transferat.
